According to official press release, The notebook asus eee PC 900 will obtain the increased battery capacity (from 5200 to 5800 ) which allow to compensate the appearance of larger screen and faster processor.
Asus company began to use the reduced battery capacity not only in old eee PC 701, but also in new In eee PC 900. If owners of Eee PC 701 ( 4 Gb memory version ) could obtain instead of battery 5200 another one with 4800 or 4400 , then Eee PC 900 owners are completely limited to 4400 batteries .  Th series asus eee PC 900 sold in Asian retail are equipped with smaller capacity batteries :  Asus Representatives explain this situation by the scarcity of batteries with necessary capacity. As compensation in some regions asus proposes supplemental bonuses like paid access to Internet from local providers. Related Products : |
