In the fourth quarter this year , Intel will present the first four core processor bloomfield LGA 1366, which will obtain the integrated three-channel memory controller with DDR- 3 support . Although analogous processors can work in servers and initial systems level , the single processors bloomfield will be used in expensive desktop systems.
Bloomfield processors will be released in new series extreme edition. Associate reports , that bloomfield processors will get a new functions which facilitate overclock. We assume that we deal here with the free multiplier . Four core processor lynnfield will have the LGA 1160 socket and only dual-channel memory controller . Thus, the following overclocker intel platform will get a higher price and also a new design concept LGA 1366.
