As reports associate with the reference to the word of financial NVIDIA director , the gross company profit in the first financial quarter proved to be up to 100 lower than it was planned. The reasons for this delay are problems with the change of products generations . The accumulated reserves of g80 chips forced to lower the price ( even less than the prime cost ). In addition, the release level of suitable G92 chips was lower than the expected value. At present problems with g80 reserves remained in the past. Now NVIDIA has to improve the release level of suitable chips g92. Mr. Marvin D. Burkett assumes that the negative financial effect from the low level of g92 release will be fixed in July. |
