The chipset intel p45 will become the last platform for LGA 775 processors . MSI company intends to add XMP function to its motherboards , which allow to automatically overclock the memory. XMP is supported only by some DDR- 3 modules . Furthermore, MSI is assembled to propose to all owners of intel p45 motherboards a free passage from the customary interface BIOS to EFI. Using the operating system Windows vista x64 SP1 user will obtain access to BIOS parameters through the special interface directly in the operating system . However, other operating systems will allow a classical change of system parameter . The possibilities of intel p45 motherboard will be also substantially enriched by MSI company . |
