According to information, presented by intel document PCN 108395-02, (18) 45- nm processors intel series xeon DP (Quad-Core intel xeon processor x5482, X5460, X5450, X5472, E5450, E5472, E5440, E5462, E5430, E5420, E5410, E5405, L5420 and L5410, (Harpertown), Dual-Core intel xeon processor x5272, X5260, E5205 and L5240 (Wolfdale-DP)) are transferred on a new core stepping from C -0 to E -0. The updated servers CPU will be delivered on 6 October. The new processor version will require a BIOS update . CPUID was updated from 0x1067A, to  0xA005b013. The significant changes are reduction in the energy consumption for the 3,2- GHz model xeon DP x5482, which after transfer from C -0 to E -0 will obtain TDP equal to 120 W ( instead of 150 W with C0 ).
