Nvidia company intends to translate on 55 nm technical process many products .Among the first 55 nm video chip, we have the G92b, which be used in video card GeForce 9800 GT. NVIDIA will also release the GeForce 9800 GT 65 nm version in order to escape the risk of the new technical process. Associate reports that the first models 55 nm GT200 version is already released. Passage to the new technical process will allow to decrease the chip area from 576 to 400 sq. mm. besides the prime cost reduction , this will allow to reduce the energy consumption level . This migration has a noticeable reduction in the prime cost - according to our associates evaluations , one 55 nm GT200 chip will be about $100. However, the 65 nm version will cost $150 . Video card on base of 55 nm versions GT200 chip can appear on sale during autumn. | ||
