On 21-22 May , NVIDIA showed it's trends in the technologies development and talked about CUDA architecture second generation. This architecture support allows a large increase in speed, in comparison with calculations conducted only with the aid of CPU. Doctor David Kirk , the leader of research and experimental company divisions , described about the profits in order to increase the calculations speed , using CUDA 2.0. The picture below indicates calculations acceleration in those applications, where it is possible to use GPU with CUDA 2.0 (GeForce 8800 GTX in this case), in the comparison with 2,8- GHz Pentium D.
