AMD prepare (during summer ) the announcement of average and upper price ranges video card with GDDR- 5 memory. As explains associate , NVIDIA video card will use GDDR-5 memory in the second-half of 2009 , using the NVIDIA video chip (code designation D12U ). Its predecessor D11U will be equipped with GDDR- 3 or GDDR-4 memory . In Q2 2009 GDDR- 5 memory will be updated from 70 nm to 55 the technical process, and its frequency will also increase . At the end of 2009 will appear one potentially strong competitor - now known under larrabee . The corresponding intel graphical solution will also use GDDR-5 memory . |
