As we already noted the south bridge SB750 will be provided with a certain function, which facilitates the overclock of phenom generation processors  . Associates report that AMD hid six magic contacts on the processors and chipset, which during the successful components combination  were called to facilitate the overclock by  increase in the multiplier. In this case for some reason as an example was given a certain processor phenom black edition with 2.8 GHz frequency  . If a motherboard uses the south bridge SB700 or SB750, then the frequency of this processor can be increased automatically to 3.0 GHz and 3.2 GHz . With south bridges SB700 and SB750 can be equipped motherboard on base of chipsets AMD 780G, 790FX and 790GX. The specific overclock function will be controlled either by motherboard BIOS or overdrive utility  , or using special button on the motherboard. Does this mean that the new south bridges will allow to unlock the multiplier of phenom processors ? Let us wait and see . Related Products :

if this means you dont need to get the black edition and a 9550 or 9750 would get you the same results then this actualy is a good bang for the buck product.at 3ghz the phenom would be a good product. the overclocking its self might void warrenty but its up to you to decide if you need the extra few hunderd mhz or you just have upgrade to 45nm later in lets say 9 months from now. yet the 6000+ is also a bargain at only 80-95 euros and can hold until faster phenoms are available

	I have a mothnerboard with hte SB700 and i dont see any way to overclock my phenom without the FSB
