AMD Company already realized the independent power and frequencies control of cores and memory controller in phenom generation processors  . Intel company may use similar concept later. According to intel engineers intention , processor cores can be overclocked independently , for this reason each core had to find independence in the plan of power. According to official intel representatives  , the independent frequency and voltage control of single functional processor units  will be realized in nehalem generation products  . First Intel wants to adjust processors for different market segments, accelerating or slowing down single functional units conformable to the priorities: high speed operation or electric power savings  . As a example can serve the high-end bloomfield model  , which will obtain the faster system bus QPI and support to the faster DDR-3 memory in comparison with other two models .  Intel Representatives explain, that the cores, memory controller and the input-output unit of nehalem processors  will obtain natural frequencies and voltage, which can be controlled  independently. In this case Intel attempts to preserve the synchronization of the corresponding interfaces, to decrease latency and to increase speed. One additional special feature of nehalem processors will become the possibility of dynamic change in the frequency proportional to the required power.
