The attempts to inject cooling with the aid of liquid metal in the sector of video card already appeared from sapphire company and by the developer of the corresponding technology, American company nanoCoolers. However, the cost of this cooling system proved to be too high for the introduction in the mass products, and effectiveness hardly exceeded traditional solutions. Danamics developed the processor cooler LM10, which must exceed on effectiveness many liquid cooling systems which are usually sold in the assembled form. Tubes include the liquid metal, and the black plastic case hides the electromagnetic pump. The latter does not contain anymechanical parts, it has a unlimited service period (according to the producer), noiseless, and in this case it consume less than 1 W of electric power . The high cooling efficiency is combined with the noiselessness. However, producer does not refine, the additional fan, which blows out cooling fins, is necessary for the normal cooling . The orientation of cooler does not affect its effectiveness, as producer asserts. | ||
