During Computex 2008 thermaltake company demonstrated its cooling system with the phase transition : xpressar RCS100. The Special features of this cooling system are several. First, this is one of few products with the phase transition, produced in series. In the second place, this system has a compact sizes, which can be placed inside the standard case ATX.
In this case Xpressar is mounted inside the case xaser IV or Xaser VI from thermaltake. Finally, processor cooled with this system preserves the operating temperature, close to the ambient temperature; therefore no worry about condensation . This week thermaltake demonstrated the operational cooling system xpressar RCS100 in one of the Japanese stores. This system work from the 12V line which is also convenient. Producer declares, that the processor core 2 Duo e8400 (3.0 GHz) overclocked to 4.05 GHz was cooled to 35 degree Celsiuss, which is 20 degrees better than average water cooling . The noise level in this case is reduced from 30 to 20 DB, since the fan rotation speed is reduced from 2400 to 1600 rp/min . In September the cooling system xpressar will appear in the OEM- market.
