Certain optimization at the south bridge SB750 level will allow the owners phenom X4 Black edition processors to get higher overclock . The mysterious function advanced clock calibration will allow to raise the processor frequency in comparison with any other chipset. Today appeared the express- review of foxconn motherboard on base of SB750 south bridge , which allow to open the advantages of the new utility version AMD overDrive and the function advanced clock calibration. The detailed analyse of this technologies combination and components will takes place within the next few days, and our associates report the first overclock results . The processor phenom X4 9850 Black edition, which participated in the experiment, in the majority of other cases was overclocked to 3.1 GHz only with 1.425 V. Using the motherboard on base of SB750 with a minimum change this processor was overclocked to 3.2 GHz, moreover vcore did not exceed 1.3875 v. On default voltage this processor was overclocked to 3.0 GHz instead of previous 2.7 GHz. Maximum overclock was 3.3 GHz. | ||
