Associates already promised to study in detail the improvement in the overclocking potential of phenom X4 processors with AMD SB750 south bridge. Thus, the main improvement in the overclocking potential Of phenom X4 serves the advanced clock calibration function, realized on SB750 motherboards . AMD do not explain in detail how this system work, referring to the need for secrets protection from competitors. It is known only that the south bridge SB750 uses a certain straight interface for connection with the processor through six contacts .SB750 helps to make certain options, which facilitate the overclock of processor. It is remarkable, that the new south bridge allow to overclock better the processor, this beneficially affects the productivity of memory controller .
