AMD released immediately two professional graphic accelerators - ATI firePro v5700 and ATI firePro v3700. For this reason AMD decided to invest in this hardware market , proposing to users the more accessible and more productive professional 3d- accelerators models. The first card include 512mb memory, dual link DVI and DisplayPort. This card also include the unified video decoder 2.0. The model ATI firePro v3700 is oriented to the initial level systems. Its recommended price is $99. The card ATI firePro v3700 include only 256mb memory, two dual-link DVI. Both cards support the technology Microsoft directX 10.1, OpenGL 2.0, PCI express 2.0 and Shader model 4.1. The deliveries of ATI firePro v3700 already began, deliveries of ATI firePro v5700 will begin in September on the recommended price $599. | ||

| I just bought a v3700 dirt cheap, I don\'t understand what the big fuss about these cards is all about. From any angle I look at it its just an ordinary card that works just like a normal consumer card, they talk about support yet there was nothing in the box that remotely links to anything support related aside from a stupid sticker that has you register online like any normal product. |
