AMD company presented accelerator FirePro W9100 processor-based Hawaii. Performance solutions on floating-point single precision reaches 5 teraflops (trillions of calculations per second), for double-precision figure is 2.76 teraflops. FirePro W9100 based on GPU codenamed Hawaii, which includes 2816 stream processors, distributed computing units 44, the GPU frequency is not specified. The adapter has received 16 GB of GDDR5 memory , you can connect up to six monitors with a resolution of 4K via DisplayPort 1.2.
AMD also made announcement of a new initiative to promote workstations - Ultra Workstation. As part of AMD partners will offer turnkey solutions on three different levels, indicating how many GPUs are used . In a minimum configuration Ultra Workstation will have eight cores, 32 GB of RAM and a single accelerator FirePro W9100.
