NVIDIA Company already promised to the end of years to transfer on 55 nm technical process all graphical solutions, and all new products are released on 55 nm technological standards even now. The company representatives refused to comment on rumors about the preparation for passage on 40 nm technical process. It is assumed that the first 40 nm video chip AMD will appear in the first quarter 2009. AMD company already released video chip on 55 nm technology  with the participation of TSMC. NVIDIA will start the passage on 40 nm technical process from mobile video chips series n10x, which will replace the present chips series nB9x. NVIDIA is going to transfer desktop and mobile video chip to the new technological standards, but there are no precise data about this migration periods   NVIDIA representatives reported at the last current conference that they was too absorbed by the production of 65 nm chips, and they were detained with the passage on 55 nm technical process. From the other side, the video chip GT200 continues to remain monolithic with a sufficiently large crystal area ; therefore the fastest passage to more thin technological standards is one of the most important priorities for NVIDIA. Obviously, NVIDIA company does not intend to sit too long in 55 nm technical process , and has already  prepared for the passage on 40 nm technology. Related Products :
