At the last current quarterly conference AMD management openly stated about its intentions to sell the DTV subdivision, which is occupied in the development and production of components for digital television systems . This step completely corresponds to AMD desire to get rid from the non-specialized active memberships.
Yesterday appeared a official press release, which report about the new owner of DTV subdivision : broadcom company , which is specialized in development and production of the telecommunication solutions. Under broadcom will pass more than 530 specialists, who work in six engineering centers throughout the world, and AMD company will obtain $192,8 mln. | ||
