Several days ago we reported about the prototype of motherboard from GIGABYTE company : GA -X58-EXTREme, intended for Intel core i7 (Nehalem) processors.  This motherboard can be used as platform for creating a very powerful desktop PC, which exceeds according to the computational power multimillion super-computer on base of 10000 units Intel Pentium pro . GIGABYTE motherboard (on X58 Intel chipset) can organize a computing system with 6 TERAFLOPS power.  This is possible with the the installation of 6 (but not 4, as we reported earlier) video card, for example, on base Of radeon 4850 GPU.  Six graphic adapters can be used for creating multi-monitor configuration, the total number of connected monitors can reach 12 pieces. 12- phase power-supply system (CPU) , 2 phase for the memory witch allow high stability with enormous memory capacity up to 24 GB .
