Yesterday we reported, that within the 45 nm economical processors with TDP level not more than 45 W will be the four core models propus without divided cache in the third level. They will appear in Q2 2009, and they will work at frequencies from 2.1 GHz.
Currently AMD actively moves economical processors among the three core models, and this tendency will be preserved with passage on 45 nm. In Q2 2009 AMD will propose the three core processors rana, which will exist in three energy classes: with TDP level not are more than 95, 65 and 45 W respectively. The frequency range of these processors without cache in the third level will lie within the limits from 2.1 to 2.8 GHz. Heka processors with three core and divided cache in the third level with 6 mb volume. will be also presented in the second quarter 2009. Their TDP level will lie within the limits of 95 W, and frequency range will be equal to 2.5-2.8 GHz. Heka and Ran processors will have the AM3 socket, which support DDR-2 and DDR- 3 memory. | ||
