The presented today motherboard ASUS P6T WS professional, in the opinion of ASUS, will be suitable for creating the powerful work station. This motherboard support SLI and CrossFireX technologies, which allow to create a highly productive configurations with several graphic processors.
In the composition of work station on base of ASUS P6T WS professional can enter up to three GPU NVIDIA (3- way SLI) or four GPU AMD (CrossFireX). This motherboard include two ports SAS (Serial attached SCSI).  The important feature of ASUS P6T WS professional is the application of ASUS EPU technology. Its action covers the six basic components: processor, video card, memory, chipset, HDD and cooling system. With the aid of data base, EPU identifies the processor and select the suitable profile, which contains optimal setting for energy consumption control . Furthermore, EPU improves the operational system stability , decreasing the chipset and memory heat emission . Depending on load, EPU automatically corrects the clock frequencies and video card supply voltages , ensuring, according to the company estimation , savings of up to 37% of its energy consumption under the standard daily use conditions.
