Associate published today some slides from Intel road map.
The processors core 2 Extreme QX9770 and QX9650 will obtain the EOL status (END of life) in the second quarter 2009, and the versions core 2 Quad q9450 and Q6700 will be removed in the first quarter of the following year.
The good old Q6600, accessible four core desktop systems, will be removed in the end of the first half 2009.
The EOL status in the first quarter 2009 will be also for : Core 2 Duo e8200, E8190, Q6850, E6750, E6550, E6540, E4600 and E4700, and slower Pentium e2200, E2180 and Celeron e1200 will be held to the second quarter 2009.
The mobile processors core 2 Extreme x7900, X7800 and Core 2 Duo t7800, T7700, T7500, T7300, L7700, L7500, L7300 will be released already during January 2009, and the processors core 2 Duo t7250, T7100, U7700, U7600, U7500, U2200, U2100 and Celeron 570, 560, 550, 540, 530, 523 will obtain EOL during April. But here the faster mobile processors core 2 Extreme x9000 core 2 Duo t9500, T9300, T8300 and T8100, in contrast to desktop CPU will remain until September.
EOL will touch the server models : itanium 2 9000 and Xeon 5000 in this block, server CPU series xeon 5000 : in the first quarter 2009, and xeon 7000 and Xeon 3000 in the third quarter 2009. Related Products :
