Some producers propose to alternately use the graphic system integrated in chipset and the discrete video card. Other producers propose to integrate graphic cores directly in the central processor. Hard disks producers , in turn, equip classical HDD with large buffer from solid-state memory. All these measures are taken to economize the notebook energy resources .
Associate reported last week that dell company intends to equip its notebook latitude e4200 and E4300 with immediately two processors - from Intel and ARM production. The latter will be used for the operating system, which opens access to electronic mail and Internet browser. The low energy consumption of ARM processor will allow the same notebook under these conditions to work several days without recharging. However, if user requires complex tasks, it will be possible to load the main operating system under Intel processor administration .
This is not the first attempt to combine on one computer two operating systems, optimized under different tasks. Asus company already supplied a part of its motherboard with the function expressGate, which loads from the special buffer Linux operating system in all after several seconds, opening access to multimedia player , browser, email and chat clients.
