eSATA interface , which allow to connect external hard disks without speed loss , appeared on many motherboards several years ago. The owners of other motherboards have the capability to install the appropriate expansion card, and to obtain also access to the capacity of serial ATA interface with the aid of eSATA port .
OCZ technology company decided to equip with eSATA interface the solid-state memory : OCZ throttle Flash drive. This device includes the interface mini-USB, which can be used in the absence of eSATA ports .  OCZ assures, that the use of eSATA port allow to increase the data transmission speed to 90 Mb/s(read) and to 30 Mb/s(write). The theoretical capacity of USB 2.0 interface is limited to 60 Mb/s, but in practice such speeds are usually unattainable.  OCZ throttle will be released in many models : with 8, 16 or 32 GB volume, Already in the following year flash disk with USB 3.0 interface can appear , this will ensure the data transmission speed of 600 Mb/s.
