Certainly, old technical processes could not ensure the same energy efficiency and overclocking potential, but due to the large cache volume in the second level core 2 Quad q6600 could find its grateful buyer.
However, in fifth January Intel company sent out information about the removal from production of the processor core 2 Quad Of q6600 (2.4 GHz).
Last claims are possible until 8 May, 2009, the last party of box processor versions will be dispatched in 8 August 2009, and processors in the tray- assembly will be supplied up to 9 July, 2010.
