One of the first solid-state disc form factor 2.5 inches with 512 GB volume was shown this month by Toshiba company . PureSilicon nitro SSD appears to be the biggest SSD, it has the form factor 2.5 " and the capacity 1 Tb. It is equipped with SATA-300 interface, and the transmission speeds are kept with balance - reading operations : 240 Mb/s , writing 215 Mb/s respectively. Under loads this SSD consumes not more than 4.8 W, in the rest state - not more than 0.1 W. In the server segment these qualities during our days have a great value. This producer also proposes renegade SSD series  , which have a hardware data encryption function on the 256- bit algorithm AES.
