We already reported yesterday about the processor Intel atom n280 (1.66 GHz). This single core processor will work at the increased frequency from 1.6 to 1.66 GHz, and the bus frequency will be increased from 533 to 667 MHz. The companion of Intel n280 processor must become the integrated chipset Intel GN40, which supposedly possesses a one chip layout.
Associate reported that the graphic system of this chipset will be capable to reproduce high definition video (blu-ray). The chipset graphic core will be more productive than predecessor ( i945GSE ) in many other tasks.
