SMART modular technologies (SMART) company, which is specialized in memory modules , SSD and built in systems, released a new memory modules coolFlex :  PC 3-10600. The modules VLP DDR 3-1333 RDIMM volume is equal to 4 GB (SG572124AH8P6PH1) or 8 GB (SG5721G4AH8P0PH1), the modules DDR 3-1333 RDIMM has 8 GB (SG5722G4AH8P0PH) or 16 GB (SG5721G4AH8P6PH). According to the producer, the use of new modules allow to double the systems memory capacity  . Their basic application fields are supers-computer, servers and work stations. Due to the configuration 1024Mx72, in one system it is possible to install up to six modules SMART coolFlex VLP RDIMM with  8 GB volume per  processor. Thus, the maximum configuration, for example, blade- server standard size 1U with four processor socket can include up to 192 GB memory. Modules with 16 GB volume use DRAM components with 2 Gbit density (512Mx4). Like the 8 GB modules  , they are oriented for systems on base of  Intel processors. The deliveries of SMART coolFlex VLP RDIMM modules with 8 GB volume already began, the deliveries of modules with 16 GB volume are expected in the current block. Related Products :
