Gigabyte technology company declared about the official support to the technology NVIDIA SLI for all motherboards based on Intel x58 express chipset, which will allow users to obtain all advantages of NVIDIA graphic chips .
Support to NVIDIA SLI technology in gigabyte motherboard is realized by the simplest and convenient method : through bios update , which should be loaded from gigabyte sites .

Gigabyte X58- series are designed fore contemporary processors Intel core i7. Among the advantages we note the high-speed QPI- interface, support to DDR3 (3- channel), the technology ultra durable 3 and extensive overclocking possibilities.

The basic special feature of ultra durable 3 technology is the doubled copper conductors thickness in the power layers and printed-circuit board grounding. Due to Ultra durable 3 it was possible to substantially reduce the operating temperature in the critical zones (for example, in the TSP zone , chipset ...), due to the effective heat distribution throughout the entire motherboard surface area . Furthermore, the technology ultra durable 3 provides a lower impedance value (approximately up to 50%), which increases EFFICIENCY, allowing to reasonably expend energy. The doubled thickness of the copper layer ensures also an improvement in the signal quality , stable work and increased overclocking potential .
