With the passage on 45NM technology Intel company forgot about the dual core processors Pentium e2xxx, which still released on the old 65NM technical process. As replacement were proposed the more productive Pentium e5xxx with 2MB cache and the presented recently Pentium e6300 (2.8 GHz) with 1066 MHz bus - all these processors are released on the contemporary 45 NM technical process.
However, we recently discovered the processor Pentium e2210 (2.2 GHz), which visually differs from a little in characteristics from Pentium e2200 (2.2 GHz).
As it is possible to note, the processor Pentium e2210 is released on 45 NM technology, and the M0 stepping randomly coincides with the previous 65NM processors.
If we study the differences between those processors in more detail, then it is possible to reveal a higher threshold temperature , lower upper limit in the default voltage and wider energy states arsenal for the processor Pentium e2210.
