AMD Company plans to release three additional 3d- cards with directX 11 support prior to the end of year.
The company will release 40-nm RV870 in the two-processor version r800. The Model RV840 will be for average users and mass segment, RV810 is positioned as initial level solution. Most probably, RV870 will be called as Radeon HD 5870 : Radeon HD 5850, and R800 radeon HD 5870X2. The model radeon HD 5870X2 will have 2400 (1200 X 2) stream processors, and it is completed with GDDR5 memory, which works at the frequency 1150 MHz. In this case, the memory capacity will reach 286 GB/s. The core clock frequency will be 950 MHz. The release of those products will be synchronized with NVIDIA G300. | ||
