At the end of April AMD company presented three new processor socket AM3: this was the four core Phenom II X4 955 Black edition (3.2 GHz), which was hidden under phenom II X4 945 (3.0 GHz) and the oriented for OEM- market phenom II X4 925 (2.8 GHz). For the retail sector AMD packed the box Phenom II X4 945 (3.0 GHz), whose recommended official cost was equal to $225.
