At the end of April AMD company presented three new processor socket AM3: this was the four core Phenom II X4 955 Black edition (3.2 GHz), which was hidden under phenom II X4 945 (3.0 GHz) and the oriented for OEM- market phenom II X4 925 (2.8 GHz).
For the retail sector AMD packed the box Phenom II X4 945 (3.0 GHz), whose recommended official cost was equal to $225.
In this version, the processor TDP value is equal to 125 W, but later AMD plans to release the more economical version with TDP level not more than 95 W.

For each of four cores there is 512 KB cache in the second level, the third cache level with 6 MB volume is divided between the cores. The default processor frequency is equal to 3.0 GHz.
