The efforts of NVIDIA company in the advance of ION platform begin to bring their fruits: important producers are interested in the possibility of designing notebooks on base of NVIDIA chipset and Intel atom processors. In particular, the appropriate product was recently presented by Lenovo company, which attempts to find its niche on the young and growing notebooks market .
As reports associate , asustek company studies the possibility to release budget and full scale notebooks on NVIDIA ION platform. The desktop version BOX'S Eee B1006 will appear in the third quarter present year. According to associate , HP company also attempts to put an end to the dominance of atom processors in the notebook segment . HP is intended to release notebooks on base of processors with ARM- architecture. From other sides HP company considers that to budget notebook is given too much attention. HP is not also assembled to buy acer or Asustek company, which at the given moment are the most important budget notebooks producers . | ||
