Prior to computex 2009 exhibitions some associate expressed with confidence that AMD will become the first producer, who proposed to users graphical solutions with directX 11 support. It is assumed that the corresponding video chip will be released on 40 nm technology from TSMC up to October 2009.
Associate report that on computex 2009 exhibitions , AMD company unexpectedly demonstrated the first 40 nm video chip models, which DirectX 11 support. Moreover, to the visitors of this exhibition the first video card prototypes were demonstrated in action.
AMD also showed the silicic plate which contains the first 40 nm AMD video chip with directX 11 support. According to associate , the core area does not exceed 180-200 sq. mm. Possibly, this is the so-called chips RV870, which will replace the Radeon HD 4890 (RV790).

AMD is assured that it will be the first producer, who began the sale of video card with directX 11 support. Related Products :
