HP Company, which is the most important computers producer , released the new notebook HP mini 5101, which will appear in the market during July this year. It will obtain durable and light case from magnesium and aluminum, and also optional 10.1 screen with 1366 X 768 resolution. In the base version, the screen will have the resolution 1024 X 600.

The mass of notebook will start from 1,3 kg. Speed will ensure the processor atom n280 (1.66 GHz) and hard disk standard size 2.5 inches (7200 rp/min) ( capacity varies from 160 to 320 Gb). As option HP will propose SSD with 80 or 128 Gb volume, and also external DVD- drive with USB and dock- station interface with ports replicator .

Chipset Intel 945GSE will remain the heart of graphic system . The memory capacity can be increased from 1 to 2 Gb, but on the motherboard is provided only one slot SO-DIMM. Regular battery with four sections has the capacity 29 W•ch.

This notebook can be equipped with operating system Windows XP home, Windows vista home basic, FreeDOS or SUSE linux enterprise 11. As option is proposed the modem for access to the wireless connection networks EV -DO and HSPA, and also the wide selection of wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. In the initial configuration HP mini 5101 will cost $449.
