We already reported about motherboards with the support of SATA-600 and USB 3.0 among products on base of Intel p55 chipset . However later appeared the problems with SATA-600 controller from Marvell productions , which required the release of new revision. As reports associate with reference to Asus , this company intends to deprive the motherboard P6X58 premium, from USB 3.0 support . It was assumed that this motherboard on base of Intel x58 chipset will use the discrete controller NEC for the realization of two ports USB 3.0 support. There are even some engineering models of this motherboard , but now Asus made the decision to forego the series production Of asus P6X58 premium. The reasons for this unexpected solution are not called. Possibly, they even are not connected with NEC controller , which ensure USB 3.0 support. Sooner or later motherboards with this interface support will appear. | ||
