The Japanese memory producer elpida memory plans to increase the release volume level of memory chips (DRAM) for highly productive PC and servers. Fighting with its American competitor Micron technology for the place of the most important DRAM producers, the company declared about the intention to increase the release of DDR3 microcircuits to 75000 plates per month, since September. At present, the company processes from 20000 to 30000 plates per month. The portion of DDR3 microcircuits since May rose approximately to 30%, after increasing the price break between DDR3 and DDR2. DDR3 Memory, utilized in highly productive PC and servers, exceeds DDR2 memory on speed, consuming less energy. Related Products :
