Currently relatively cheap processors with the free multiplier are released by AMD. Intel company ask for such processor $999 , series extreme edition, which has free multiplier. The attractiveness of AMD processors from enthusiasts grew with the ability to activate the concealed processor core. Intel do not propose such modification . The processor Pentium E6500K has free multiplier with the price of approximately $84. This processor is supplied in the box without the regular cooler, in it is applied with the motherboard biostar TP45E combo, which increases the cost of complete set to $190. This processor has the marking form SLGYP. It is based on R0 stepping, CPU- Z utility assumes it for the engineering model. As you see, user can easily raise the multiplier to the regular value 11x. | ||
