MSI Company prepares the release of motherboard for AMD AM3 platform. This motherboard will be based on NVIDIA - chipset nForce 980a with SLI support. This device, as it is expected, will be called MSI NF980-G65 and will support (3-way SLI). A similar product was released by ASUS company , which prepared motherboard with AM2+ support and which supports DDR2 memory. NF980-G65 will support, correspondingly, AMD AM3 processors, including versions with TDP 140 W. On the card will be placed three slots PCI- E 2.0 for the graphic card PCI- E x16, and also slots with support of devices, installed in PCI- E x1 and PCI. NForce 980a SLI contains a built-in video core GeForce 8300 ( DVI- D, D -Sub and HDMI). There are six ports for SATA II interface, audio realtek ALC889; fireWire interface and gigabit net controller. The price of this motherboard will be below $200. | ||
