Intel corporation plans in the first quarter of following year to update its mobile platform with the low consumption CPU. In the current moment the processor SU9600, will be replaced by Core i7 640UM which has the TDP level of 18 watts ( 80 percent higher than the old model : 10 watts ). In this case Core i7 640UM will contain a graphic core, and the increase in the heat emission is completely justified.  The frequency of this CPU will be 1.2 GHz, which is less in comparison with SU9600, which operates at the frequency of 1.6 GHz. However, the processor core i7 is equipped with the turbo regime, which allow to increase the frequency to 2.26 GHz. In this case TDP will grow ; Related Products : | ||
