After presenting on this week the four core processors propus without cache in the third level,  AMD company did not forget also about the needs of amateurs to economize electricity. Following the models Athlon II X4 620 (2.6 GHz) and Athlon II X4 630 (2.8 GHz) AMD presented the processor Athlon II X4 605e (2.3 GHz), which has much lower TDP value : only 45 W against initial 95 W in the elder propus models  . This efficiency is achieved not only by reduction in the default frequency. The range of default voltage for the processors athlon II X4 620 and Athlon II X4 630 is equal to 0.925-1.425 v, and for the processor athlon II X4 605e it is equal to 0.775-1.2 v. Simultaneously AMD lowered the maximum case temperature  - from 71 to 70 degrees Celsius. This processor has the marking form AD605EHDK42GI, the cache volume and the hyperTransport bus frequency are identical to the characteristics of elder propus processors. In Japan this model will be proposed for more than $160 - this is noticeably more expensive than not only Athlon II X4 620 ($99), but also Athlon II X4 630 ($122). On this week in Japanese retail also appeared the dual core processors Athlon II X2 240e (2.8 GHz) and Athlon II X2 235e (2.7 GHz), which have TDP not more than 45 W. Prices from $75 - this is a good version for those, who want to save on the electric power, and does not care about the quantity of processor core. Related Products :
