Processor Pentium 4 511 (2.8
GHz) recently get the support of
Hyper-Threading technology, together with the passage to
stepping G1 of core Prescott and the sufficiently high multiplier
made it attractive for overklokers. However, the price of
this processor after July will decrease it should get below the $69, which would allow this
processor to competed with the low-order models Celeron D.
Meanwhile on this week Intel notified its clients about
the removal of processor Pentium 4 511 (2.8 GHz) from the production.

other processors". the end of this processors in the old and new
steping with marks SL8U4 and SL9CJ, in the box and OEM-
.making Order is possible until 3 November,
2006, last deliveries are outlined on 2 February, 2007.
On the market family Pentium 4 5x1 will be continued to
present processors Pentium 4 541 (3.2 GHz), Pentium 4 531 (3.0 GHz)
and Pentium 4 524 (3.06 GHz), which price should be after the 23 July of
$84, $74 and $69 respectively. All existing models Pentium 4 6x1
will cost $163 independently from their frequency.
