Many analysts and producers looked in the third quarter this year with hope for market restoration  , and now it is  already possible to judge, how these hopes were substantiated. The third quarter this year is characterized by record rates of quarterly gain volume from the realization of graphical solutions - they proved to be highest in the last nine years. In the numerical expression, the deliveries volumes of graphical solutions grew by 21,2% as a whole on the market. In comparison with the third quarter 2008 the increase composed 11,9%. In the absolute expression in the third quarter, present year were dispatched 119,45 ml graphic processors,i n this case we deal also with the integrated graphic core in chipset. Among three most important graphical solution producers in the third quarter, the greatest volume gain of deliveries demonstrated AMD (30,2%), followed by Intel (25,2%), and  NVIDIA company is satisfied only by 3,3% of increase. Let us note that the market share in the third quarter occupied BY NVIDIA was reduced from 29,2% to 24,9%. For Intel company, it was possible to increase its market share from 51,1% to 52,7%, and  AMD company increased its portion from 18,4% to 19,8%. If we compare with the third quarter 2008, then AMD still could not restore its market share (20,6%),  NVIDIA company loses positions (27,8%), but Intel confidently increases its presence (49,4%). Actually, NVIDIA reduced the deliveries volumes of graphical solutions by 4% in comparison with the analogous period last year, whereas Intel and AMD increased them by 14,6% and 3,1%, respectively. Other producers feel themselves differently. Matrox, for example,  loses market positions. SiS managed for the block to increase the deliveries volumes of graphical solutions by 209,3%,  VIA/S3 company was satisfied modest 116,2% :-) . However, in the annual expression the latter increased the deliveries volumes by 465,3%. In SiS, for example, this index is equal to 80%. Related Products :
