verbatim company yesterday presented the solid-state disk, characterized by the combination of eSATA and USB 2.0 interfaces. It was called Combo SSD drive.  Both interfaces are hidden in the disk case . User can alternately use USB or eSATA.  Producer asserts that with the use of USB 2.0 interface the speed of information transmission on reading operations is 26 MB/s, on writing operations - 15 MB/s. The passage to eSATA allows to increase this speed to 60 MB/s and 25 MB/s respectively.  This disk supports the function of 256- bit data coding on AES algorithm . The overall device dimensions are equal to 80 X 23 X 9 mm, its mass reaches 19 gram. The model with 32 GB volume is proposed in Europe for the price of approximately 159 Euros.
