AMD company for the first time openly described about the new processor bulldozer architecture  , which will appear in the server and productive desktop processors in 2011. AMD report that expenditures for research and developments will be lowered from 23% to 19%, but only after major portion of expenditures for the development of bulldozer and Fusion processors  will be made. Many of the assumptions about the special features of bulldozer architecture proved to be accurate. According to AMD description , this architecture is directed to the reduction in the losses of speed due to the disagreement of simultaneous thread processing . The answer of AMD to Hyper-Threading will consist in the creation of two integral clusters, which will be turned to the general block of calculation material   and divided cache in the second and third level. The divided block of calculation material for the first time in the history of x86- compatible processor  development will obtain two specialized 128- bit blocks, that perform multiplication operation  . This is the most frequently utilized in the material calculations operation (FMAC). This way allows the block of material calculations of bulldozer processors to not only be divided between the core, but also to work only with one of them. Operating system will see each bulldozer core  as two cores. As we already reported, bulldozer architecture will appear in 2011 in the four- and 8 core desktop processors zambezi, and also the server processors interlagos and Valencia. All these processors will be released on 32 nm technology with the use of materials, which have the high value of dielectric constant. AMD representatives reported also about a new processor architecture : Bobcat, which will allow the company to be squeezed in the netbook segment . AMD now frankly compares bobcat architecture with atom processors  , promising productivity level not lower than 90% with the doubly smaller core sizes . Bobcat will have a conveyer with the extraordinary fulfillment of commands, capable of processing two instructions per cycle, and will also obtain the aggressive prediction of branchings. Processors with bobcat architecture the first generation can be satisfied by one watt of required power, the maximum TDP value will not exceed two watts. As we know from the past AMD presentations , ontario processors with bobcat architecture will be released on 40 nm technology. Their announcement is also planned in 2011. ontario processors will obtain two computational core class bobcat, memory controller with DDR3 support and graphic core with the support Of directX 11. All this economy will be placed on the monolithic crystal with an area of not more than 60 sq. mm, which globalfoundries company will release in the second-half 2010 with the use of monolithic base layer (bulk CMOS).  SSE3 Expansions and virtualization technology can be used by processors with bobcat architecture for accelerating the corresponding applications. Finally, AMD also reports about the hybrid processors llano, whose AMD will supply in first half 2010, although the announcement is planned only in 2011. Each processor llano will unite four computational core with phenom II architecture , released on 32 nm monolithic crystal, and also graphic core with directX 11 support the memory controller with DDR 3-1600 support. Produced on 32 nm technology crystal will contain about a billion of transistors. According to some data, llano processors will obtain 512 KB cache in the second level for each of four cores, and here it can be deprived from the cache in the third level . The graphic core can obtain up to 480 stream processors. According to AMD representatives  , llano processors  will exist as the minimum in two versions, which have the graphic core with different characteristics. AMD is assembled to switch over to the concept of modular processors design , which allow to issue new products with a different combination of core every twelve months. Related Products :
