Last week, AMD introduced AMD FX processors for desktop PCs, built on Bulldozer architecture . Processors are between four and eight cores, a large amount of cache memory in the third level and support Turbo Core. AMD also plans to release server processors on Bulldozer architecture. Opteron processors series 6200, codenamed Interlagos, will be from eight to sixteen cores.
Characteristics of several models series Opteron 6200 were seen in the technical documentation for server HP ProLiant DL165 G7:
- Opteron 6276: 16 cores, 2.3 GHz, 16 MB cache, L3, TDP 115 W;
- Opteron 6274: 16 cores, 2.2 GHz, 16 MB cache, L3, TDP 115 W;
- Opteron 6272: 16 cores, 2.1 GHz, 16 MB cache, L3, TDP 115 W;
- Opteron 6238: 12 cores, 2.6 GHz, 16 MB cache, L3, TDP 115 W;
- Opteron 6234: 12 cores, 2.4 GHz, 16 MB cache, L3, TDP 115 W;
- Opteron 6220: 8 cores, 3.0 GHz, 16 MB cache, L3, TDP 115 W;
- Opteron 6212: 8 cores, 2.6 GHz, 16 MB cache, L3, TDP 115 w
