Intel company actively updates its solid-state disk, transferring them to the use of memory, released on more thin technical process. The prospects of using 30 nm memory are not determined, but here 34 nm SSD are intensively modernized with new firmware and controllers .
Concerning previous SSD on base of 50 nm memory, which exist in parallel with the new, their life cycle already approaches to the end. Published on Intel site document reports that solid-state disk on the base of 50 nm memory in the form factors 2.5 and 1.8 inch with volume 80 and 160 Gb are removed from production.  It will be possible to order them until 20 April, 2010, and last party will be dispatched on 7 August 2010. Related Products : | ||
