oPTi company started a law court, since it was assured that NVIDIA corporation destroyed the conditions for license agreement between NVIDIA and oPTi, signed in 3 August 2006. On the conditions of agreeing OPTi was due to quarterly reward in the size of 750 thousand dollars ; beginning from February 2007, and until NVIDIA continues the use of technology (pre-snoop), developed by OPTi. The maximum number of payments is equal to 12. However, NVIDIA used technology, but it did not hurry to pay. After turning in the law court, OPTi could obtain the sum in the size of 3,75 ml dollars ; corresponding payments for five quarters : from 1 February, 2007, through 30 April, 2008. At present, NVIDIA continues to use the technology mentioned above, they are assured in OPTi. Meanwhile NVIDIA did not make the payment, asserting that it did not use the technology of pre-snoop. | ||
