After presenting during January the first 32-nm clarkdale processors , Intel company prepared the update of a number of processor models. First the processor core i7 930 (2,8 GHz) LGA 1366 will appear. It s release will take place in the last day of February for $284. In this case, the processor core i7 920 will be removed from production. As it is expected, on 16 March Intel will present the six-core processor core i7 980X, also known under Gulftown. The processor clock frequency is equal to 3,33 GHz, and price is $999. In the middle of May will appear the dual core processor core i5 680 with the clock frequency 3,6 GHz. According to preliminary information, its price will be $284. Furthermore, Intel will release the processors core i3 550 (3,2 GHz) and Core i7 880 (3,06 GHz) for $133 and $562 respectively. Initial segment will be supplemented by Pentium e6700 (3,43 GHz). These processors will meet AMD solution thuban, whose appearance is also planned for the second quarter present year. In the third quarter Intel plans to present the six-core processor gulftown for the mass segment. | ||
