Even lowest-end video card radeon HD 5xxx can support three monitors simultaneously within the technology eyefinity. But for the connection of the third monitor displayPort interface will be required. Monitors average price range do not have the appropriate interface type.
The proposed by Sapphire company solution in the form of an adapter from DisplayPort to DVI must solve the problem.  We considered that this active adapter will be proposed on the price not more than $60-70, but last week it was noted in Japanese retail for $152! Certainly, Japanese stores are famous by their high prices.
